Campaign Reflections

When I preached my first sermon the scripture that I used came from Galatians 6:9 and it was, " Do not grow weary in your well doing for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up!". Those words kept me on the battle field back then and even now as I strive for equitable education. I decided to run for this position because I was a frustrated parent and I wanted students and parents without a voice to have one. It is time for a new change in DeKalb and I hope that you will follow me on this journey and collaborate with me to bring your voices, and ideas to the table to shift and progressively change education to benefit the diverse interest of our students.
